Why not spend a wonderful morning in a delightful private Andalucian home under the guidance of an experienced local chef and learn some of our traditional recipes?
Join me for an immersive tapas cookery workshop that will transport you to the vibrant world of Spanish cuisine. Together we will discover the secrets of creating authentic tapas dishes and unlock the flavors that have made Andalusian cuisine world-renowned. We will select from classic favorites to contemporary twists, and our workshop will empower you to create an array of mouthwatering tapas dishes that will impress your family and friends. Our chef will teach us her secrets, and give us advice on how to adapt the recipes to your own local produce and tastes, and as you engage in the workshop, you will also gain a deeper understanding of the history and cultural significance of tapas.
ITINERARY - 3.5 HOURS, START TIME AT YOUR CONVENIENCE
- We will start the day visiting one of Malaga's colourful bustling markets, to discover the traditional produce and ingredients of the region that define tapas, and learn all about the different varieties of fresh fruits and vegetables, beans, seafood, meats and aromatic spices.
- From there we will go to the house of a renowned chef from Malaga who has run a top restaurant for the past 20 years, with whom we will prepare our tapas menu, and learn about the diverse selection of Spanish wines and how to complement your tapas creations with the perfect flavors and aromas.
- After our hard work in the kitchen, we will have the opportunity to savor our menu on the beautiful patio of the house in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by local wine or the drink of your choice.
Approximately 3. 5 hours, start-time at your convenience, but recommended to start at 9. 30am.

Book your Tapas Cookery Workshop
We will meet in the city centre and take a 10-minute taxi ride from the central market to the workshop venue, and return you to the city centre after the workshop. The programme is approximately 3.5 hours, but traffic in the city centre can be congested at times so please allow a little flexibility in the schedule. The central market is closed on Sundays, and is open 9.00am - 3.00pm every other day of the week. The workshop can be run on a Sunday if desired, but without the market visit.
Included are all the ingedients for the tapas workshop to prepare 3 dishes, and a bottle of wine between 2 people (minimum of two guests)
This workshop is recommended for couples and groups of up to 4 people, and it is possible to customize this workshop to meet your dietary requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information and to discuss options.
